Eat>Drink>Play - Birthday Celebrations; Mecca Bah, Brisbane

On the 1st of November marked my twenty something birthday! I was fortunate enough for it to coincide with the Melbourne Cup celebrations, which meant lots of parties all round.

What is the Melbourne Cup i hear you ask?

The Melbourne Cup is  Australia’s major thoroughbred horse race. Billed as “the race that stops a nation”, it is a 3,200 metre race for three-year-olds and over…with horse racing also comes amazing fashion. Never quite understood how the two went hand in hand…

Heels on grass? I mean really? here is what i wore….

Head wrap - You know i love me some leopard print, material was purchased in Vietnam.

Dress - Target; the colour is dynamite! Would you believe i found the same dress at SABA for a whopping $389…..side eye to SABA

Shoes - Novo; a purchase that i thought long and hard about, but how could i resist a wedge shoe with fluro coloured suede?

Bag - Sports girl; tan leather - loves it!

** i had to sneak in a girly pic, these girls have been my friends for over 15 years, wowsa!

I have always had a fascination with fashion and photography, so I created this blog to document my personal style and fashion inspiration.

I often see people who are using fashion to express themselves in a unique manner - not surprisingly these people are also captured on this blog.

Its here that i also share my thoughts, ideas, loves and obsessions...
